History
Hi-Tech Charities is a community-based organization incorporated in 2001 that started out in 1998 as a mentoring program for neighborhood children, with emphasis on preparing them for college and being productive citizens.

The services offered then included: tutoring, job preparation, assisting with technology- computer and internet into the homes, mentoring- taking them on college tours etc.
​
Over time, HTC grew to government agencies funded/approved programs such as:
- Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) - funded Adult Education and Literacy program.
- US Department of Labor (DOL) – funded Youth Build program training students in Construction and Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
- US Department of Health & Human Services (DHHS) – funded Construction training for adults, Individual Development Account (IDA) for business start-ups
- US Department of Education (DoEd) – funded Upward Bound, Education Talent Search
- Missouri Department of Higher Education (DHE) – approved Entrepreneurship Small Business Management and Computer Productivity Training programs

Hi-Tech Charities has since expanded and reengineered its focus, and currently providing services in:
- Home care, (Home health, In-Home and Consumer Directed Services)
- comprehensive behavioral health services
- school-based mental/behavioral healthcare, and coordinated care in
- medicated assisted treatment
- integrated primary healthcare services, as well as
- housing and employment support services.
